Youth Focus Day

On Sunday, 11 Explorers and Network members took part in a Youth Focus day, to help review the national 18-25 programme and share their ideas for the perfect 18-25 provision in Scouting. Ideas ranged from extreme cooking badges to the Network Bucket List. After lunch, we worked to develop some ideas for a Birmingham Youth Council and how it could work, who could join and what they might discuss, using a Top Gear style cool wall and some stick people self-portraits.

Thank you to all those who came – your thoughts were really useful and will help shape the future of 18-25 scouting in the UK, as well as having an impact on how your voices are heard right here in Birmingham!
