Nominations sought for new District Commissioner for Cole Valley South District

After seven years of leading Cole Valley South District through growth and development Paul Goon has announced his decision to step down in early 2012 as District Commissioner.

A small search team has been formed to assist the County Commissioner in a search for a new DC. We know there are some amazing people around and we want to ensure everyone gets the opportunity to nominate people they feel could undertake this role and make a difference.

Leaders are being invited to contribute to this search by submitting a nomination, or even nominations, of people whom they feel should be considered for this important and rewarding role.

Who can be nominated?
Self nominations are actively encouraged and expected, let's be honest, if you believe you can bring the right skills and expertise to the role and you are enthusiastic and motivated then why not nominate yourself? If you don't you may miss this rewarding opportunity if you are not nominated by someone else.
