Cole Valley South District
Cole Valley South District covers the south eastern quarter of the city and includes Acocks Green, Hall Green, Yardley Wood, Billesley, Kings Heath, Moseley, Sparkhill, Balsall Heath, Selly Park, Bournville, Kings Norton, West Heath.
There are 20 Scout Groups in the District (listed below) within which there are 20 Beaver Scout Colonies, 21 Cub Scout Packs, 18 Scout Troops and 10 Explorer Scout Units. Each Group provides an active and varied Scouting programme for around boys and girls aged 6 to 18, and all are managed and run by adult volunteers.
With just over 900 youth members and 200 plus adult volunteers we are one of the larger Districts in Birmingham County. We do however need more adult volunteers if we are to provide Scouting to more young people in our area.
