Water Activities

Have you ever taken a kayak down rapids, feeling the water splash up as you hit a wave head on?

Are you looking for a new, different, exciting adventure?

How about getting on to the water and having a go at sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding or even yachting? The list goes on.

My name is Paul Brettell, and Iook after water activities for the County. My aim is to get as many young people on the water as we can, and as safely as possible.

Sections, Groups and Districts can organise water activities by using an accredited commercial activity provider. There are a number in our area and I can help find one to meet your needs.

We also have two water activity groups who run regular canoeing and kayaking sessions. You can find their contact details below.

Alternatively, you can run it yourself. In this case you will usually need a leader with an activity permit.

Either way, you can find all the details you need here, just search for the activity you want to run. If you need any help or advice, just ask!

I look forward to seeing you out on the water.
