Birmingham County Scouts is very excited to announce that after a great response to the application process and a selection event at the beginning of September, we are now ready to announce the leadership team that will be going to the WSJ in South Korea in 2023 as part of Unit 84 – the Birmingham Unit.
Jamie Burrell, will be Unit Leader, Chris Brammeier, Deputy Leader and Liz Kemp and Beth Winterbottom will be Assistant Leaders. They are all very excited to be taking up these roles on what is the trip of a lifetime.
We now begin the application process for the Young People to be part of our Unit. Applications for this will be open from the 1st October to 31st October. Applicants must be able to attend either the morning or afternoon of a selection event at Blackwell Court on Sunday 28th November.
We will be communicating the Application link at the end of the week, along with details of a Zoom and two face to face parent/YP meetings where we will be able to share more information and answer any questions. With our leader selection now complete we wish the team well and we hope that across the County, Districts and Groups you will all support Unit 84 on its journey to the WSJ 2023.
